UNIVERSITY COURSE
Due to great interest, the university course „Curation in the Performing Arts“ will continue in 2019/20. Being the first university course for performance curation founded in Europe it is providing students with in-depth foundations in the theory, methodology and practice of curation in the performing arts. Students will be able to complete the course alongside their professional activities and hence to implement newly-acquired knowledge in practice.
Modules abroad will be conducted by the Department of Theatre Studies at the Ludwig-Maximillian-Universität München. Leading international curators will communicate contemporary methods and convey competencies in programme design in the performing arts, preparing participants for the complex conditions of an increasingly interwoven job market across the globe.
Support and Fellowships are offered thanks to following institutions: Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Kunststiftung NRW, Landeshauptstadt München, Stadt Wien und Universität Salzburg.
