ADMISSION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021
The Bachelor of Arts Dance, Context, Choreography offers a practice-oriented full-time education in six semesters in the field of choreographic theory and practice. The programme is realized in close interaction with practitioners from Berlin’s artistic context and in cooperation with the HZT’s MA programmes and international guest teachers. A strong focus is placed on the students’ own artistic goals in student project work; this emphasis challenges students to find an experimental approach to dance and choreography. The programme’s objective is to educate artists who can articulate and realize their own ideas and understanding of dance as an art form and to thereby provoke new impulses in this constantly changing artistic environment.
Admission procedure
The admission procedure is made up of a pre-selection and an entrance examination. Pre-selection is based on applicant’s work samples. Those who pass pre-selection are invited to the four-day entrance examination in Berlin in June 2020.
