Children naturally have the freedom of movement that’s needed in contemporary dance.

Now in its second year, the CNDB Academy of Dance and Performance is an intensive education and training program in contemporary dance for emerging dancers and producers.
Slightly “older” than the Academy is the CNDB Performing art school for children. Launched by the National Centre for Dance in March 2018, it is the first local training and arts education programme in contemporary dance and performing arts. What is being taught at this school? How useful can it be to children, whether or not they choose to pursue a career in contemporary dance?
