Want to see what a reel without a screen looks like?
At the Let’s get triluREELu! workshop, Vlad Benescu and Alexandra Mihaela Dancs open up the creative kitchen of the triluREELu show and invite you to explore dance through the dynamics of social networks.
What we’re doing:
- we transform reels into working tools
- we explore in motion the continuous flow of fragmented and random realities, the fast pace and diversity of information
- we improvise and construct short dance sequences, with humor, irony, and speed
How coherent can we be in incoherence?
How profound in superficiality?
Where can we find authenticity when the body is traversed by the influences of the digital age?
Come prepared to scroll through your own movements and discover what other versions of yourself appear when the algorithm is not on the screen, but in the body.
Who it is for:
Anyone who is curious to experience the relationship between the body and reel culture.
No previous experience in contemporary dance is necessary.
