The interactive digital art exhibition is part of a broader project on the politics of technology.
“Politics of Technology—Collaborative Investigations into the Digital Territory” aims to create a space for research and critical reflection on how technology influences current affective, cultural, and sociopolitical structures. The CUTRA collective invited five digital artists to engage in an interdisciplinary dialogue with technology consultants (Cristina Cochior, Ippolita, Erin McElroy, Sergiu Nisioi, Agnese Trocchi) and feminist authors (Yasmeen Al-Qaisi, Anca Bucur, Diana Manea, Veda Popovici, Laura Sandu) to explore and seek feminist and critical responses to issues such as: Technology and global militarization; AI and the culture of work; Collective digital infrastructure; Network feminisms and convivial technologies; Mental health and new technologies. The digital artworks on display will also be featured on cutra.ro and on spam-index.com, a platform dedicated to contemporary digital art.
