In patriarchy women support, support, serve, listen, help, protect. The woman is not aggressive, does not impose herself, does not protest, does not demand, does not risk, does not take up space.

In Maybe by 2301, we won’t need another feminist show, three performers, Maria-Luiza, Anca and Mariana, talk about normalised everyday experiences and statistics that seem unreal, about contradictory roles and intangible norms subtly propagated in society.

Some situations seem familiar, others are uncomfortable to say the least. Some may amuse you, others will frustrate you. It’s the space women live in. Chaotic, absurd, oppressive and unfair. It is also a context in which we act with solidarity, courage and empathy.

Perhaps in 2301 we will no longer need such a spectacle. For now, we are here.
