Info
In patriarchy, women endure, support, serve, listen, help, and protect. Women are not aggressive, they do not impose themselves, they do not protest, they do not ask, they do not take risks, they do not take up space.
In the show Maybe by 2301, we won’t need another feminist show, three performers, Maria-Luiza, Anca, and Mariana, talk about normalized daily experiences and statistics that seem unreal, about contradictory roles and intangible norms subtly propagated in society.
Some situations seem familiar, others are at least uncomfortable. Some may amuse you, others will frustrate you. This is the space in which women live. Chaotic, absurd, oppressive, and unjust. It is also a context in which we act with solidarity, courage, and empathy.
Perhaps in 2301 we will no longer need such a spectacle. For now, we are here.
