Info

“Equivalent” builds a constant play of raw energy exchanges, intimate dialogues and dual pictures. The show explores the forces that classify, it questions labels and problematizes how power, control and vulnerability are understood.

Starting from their own emotional landmarks that process language in a flow of sensitivity and power, the author and performers explore the definition of their own sensitivities while questioning its universality. In the process, the stage provides the space for paradigm shifts, with gender and role reversals.

“Equivalent” does not problematize society or its preconceptions, but rather “tears apart” labels. Through this “tabula rasa”, the show proposes a jovial, intimate and delicate language of movement that accesses the universality of sensibility.
