The fifth edition of the Bucharest International Dance Film Festival, the only Romanian cinematographic initiative dedicated to dance movies, will take place between September 4 and September 8, in Bucharest.
CORPOREALITIES
With the support of Cinedans Amsterdam (Cinedans on Tour), section curated by Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival
The off competition section, Corporealities, consists of five very special films, whose authors decided to start on an ever fascinating journey through the infinite realms of the human experience. With each of these movies, we discover a new type of physical language, created specially to generate emotion among viewers at a level never reached by any other art than dance. It is no wonder that the dance movies from our program cover a large array of emotions and situations, which spans from the bitter experience of loneliness to the hyperactivity in the modern jungle of finances, from family and intergenerational relationships to port-internet communities.
