Info
The anatomical theatre, a quintessentially post-disciplinary meeting point between science and the performing arts in the 16th century, is understood here as a spatial-philosophical representation of attention and of the possibility of collective transformation – a place for practicing a sense of “salvation/hope” in the face of crises affecting the human condition.
The anatomical theatre meets performance as a paradoxical space in which human beings investigate their own nature while pushing its boundaries a little further.
In this project, the anatomical theatre becomes a method for research, gradual production, and the presentation of performance. It is also a plea for boldness in giving language a material form.
Institute of Revelations, Cosmina Moroșan, 40 min, All ages
The performance asserts the necessity of philosophy understood as parable – aesthetic and polyphonic – as a kind of pedagogy that operates through subtle suggestion, leading to a sudden and irreversible shift. The research probes the territory of continuities and counterintuitive distances between different types of bodies and different types of language, situated in proximity to affect as a process of metastable calibration. A form of approximated rigor, aimed at reconstructing something of the world’s supple vertigo.
Canturi, Kira Valentina, 40 min, All ages
A performance arranged around a series of songs inspired by experiences from 2025 and 2026, involving people and other entities in different contexts – the loss of a father, relating to others in a vacant lot, or creating a women’s choir. The songs explore what kind of shared subjectivity emerges through being together at different degrees of intimacy, how we create collectively, and what is universal and what is specific within us. Within the relational field, recognition emerges, along with the potential for expansion and joy.
Love – Adriana Gheorghe, 40 min, All ages
Love and art are the spaces that allow us to say something that has not yet become ossified.
I try to stay as close to them as possible, to feel the devotion of words – how they touch, chill, or twist reality and our sense of belonging to the world. And what form our complicity with the invisible takes.

Biographies
Cosmina Moroșan works with poetry and performance art (movement, sound, installation), approaching philosophy as a risky intensity and as an ethical possibility for forging encounters. In 2017, she published the poetry volume Beatitudine (eseu politic) with Nemira Publishing House, and in 2021 she completed her PhD thesis, A simți deleuzian. Schizanaliza practicilor literare experimentale. She researches and lives in the territories between cities, between concepts and affects, developing practices formulated within open micro-teams. Since 2016, she has performed in spaces including ODD Gallery, Tranzit, Salonul de Proiecte, CNDB, Anca Poterașu Gallery, Cabinet 44 / Atelierele Malmaison, Teatre / Theatres, and others. Since 2018, she has collaborated with Anticorp Solar, with whom she initiated the trans-performative project @gesciuri.
Kira Valentina is a poet and performer. She published the poetry volume umilirea animalelor under the pseudonym val chimic, as well as new poems in various anthologies. She has been active in performance since 2007. She initiated EGG NO EGO (2011–2014), a collaborative performance concept. Through her work, she proposes experiences that strengthen connection and presence and seek to encourage beneficial transformation. She is currently developing Fericiri, a relational performance format in which she celebrates encounters through meditative dialogue, poetry, and song, which she is also adapting into a book.
Adriana Gheorghe has chosen to remain at the margins of literature and within the landscapes of performance. Over the past four years, she has transformed her own artistic practice into a physical space – Teatre in Bucharest – from which she continues to imagine temporary alliances between inner movements and external calls (Teorie Vie Durațională; Orele false; Imagine Human; Festival de performance de cameră; Repetiție pentru o școală de performance; Sublunar; Instituția performance-ului; Dragoste, peisaj, odihnă, cor; Parametri pentru viață și performance; Școala).
In 2015, she received the DanceWeb scholarship at Impulstanz in Vienna for choreographic research. In 2019, she published False Hours (artist’s book, Punch). In 2020, she received the CNDB Award for her contribution to contemporary dance. In 2025, she received the Gheorghe Iova Award for literary experimentation for the Teatre space. She collaborates with both real and speculative institutions, as well as with post-disciplinary artists.
Teatre / Theatres, located at 21 Schitu Măgureanu in Bucharest, aims to create a fertile ground for shared or divergent urgent needs and concerns, bringing together the dimensions of politics, philosophy, biography, the somatic, and, ultimately, the artistic – without representing them, but rather through activating and practicing coexistence and difference.
We Are Anatomical Theatres is produced by Teatre and co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN).
