Info

The body is exposed as a living archive of intimacy, violence, and resistance. The show claimsvulnerability as a political force and exposure as an aesthetic weapon. It rejects normativity, deconstructs and reconstructs masculinity, celebrates identity without asking permission. It offers not catharsis, but an act of insubordination: a jubilant body that defies the norm and produces new meanings. Metanoia questions the way queer identity is constructed and negotiated in the body: between intimacy and public space, between fragility and strength, between silence and protest.

Biography

Hunor Varga is a performer and emerging choreographer whose practice explores queer culture, artificiality, and the relationship between the subjective and collective body. Working from an autoethnographic perspective, he investigates how individual experience is shaped by social and political structures. Through accumulation, repetition, excess, and heightened performativity, his choreographic works examine visibility, desire, and power, engaging with the urgencies and contradictions of the present.
