TELEMACHUS

Telemachus is a name of Greek origin, meaning “fighting from afar” or “far from the fight.” He is known for his transformative journey to find his absent father.

Telemachus is a performative lecture that explores the impact of parental abandonment and absence on the child – examined from biological, psychological, and emotional perspectives, while also expressed through performative means.

It investigates how the absence of a parental figure affects neurological development, attachment formation, and the capacity for emotional regulation.

Blending scientific discourse with fragments of movement, text, and embodied presence, the performance creates a space for reflection on unhealed wounds and the things left unsaid.
