What drives you crazy?

On April 1, we’re hosting Rage Hour, the second warm-up event leading up to OWR19—a live event about austerity, crises, budget cuts, and how they’re weighing down on different sectors and communities with increasing intensity.

We’ve invited artists and members of civil society to speak directly about the pressures of the present, the effects of austerity measures in their fields, and what’s weighing most heavily on them right now.

Founded in 2009, the One World Romania Association organizes the country’s only annual documentary and human rights film festival, One World Romania, in Bucharest. The association uses documentary film as a vehicle for social and political dialogue, as a window to the world, and as a medium that provokes reflection and builds communities. Through its activities, the association supports the growing demand for documentaries in Romania, which in recent years has led to increased interest in the genre, both among the general public and within educational programs.

Participation
Free admission, subject to registration via the form available HERE.
Rage Hour will also be streamed live on partner media channels and shared online by festival participants and friends, so that the voices heard here can reach beyond the venue and fill the public space with the frustration and realities we are too often asked to swallow in silence.

In the events and projects we organize, we make every effort to provide a safe and inclusive environment. We do not tolerate discrimination or speech that incites hatred or violence. If you witness or experience any form of abuse, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please speak directly with a member of the organizing team or email us at [email protected].

By attending this event, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. The images will be used to promote the event on various media channels for non-commercial purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed and/or filmed, please speak with the organizing team present at the event.
