As every year, in November, we make it possible for new worlds to appear. In the context of celebrating 20 years of the National Dance Center’s existence, Iridescent – International festival of contemporary dance and other reconfigurations of the sensible – emphasizes the transformative power of dance.
In a few years, Sala Omnia will become our home, a welcoming and generous space for as many of us as possible, and – we promise – one of the most vibrant cultural spaces in Bucharest. We are in great need of this space to repair what we have been unable to achieve all these years without a proper headquarters that matches the multitude, complexity, and diversity of our projects. We are confident that Sala Omnia will bring us together and restore the joy of continuing our journey as one.
Ahead of the renovation and remodeling that will transform the Omnia Hall into the main headquarters of The National Centre for Dance Bucharest, these guided tours offer an opportunity to connect the forgotten layers of recent history with the future of this institution.
